Jeremiah 30:1-31:26
1.(2011) I had a friend who thought only those historically romantic favorites of Nature: bird songs, flowers and sunshine as valid metaphors for God's nature; he ignored natural phenomenon of tsunamis, earthquakes and other catastrophes:
23 See, the storm of the LORD2.(2013)How is it that the Lord looks on us as "families"?:
will burst out in wrath,
a driving wind swirling down
on the heads of the wicked.
24 The fierce anger of the LORD will not turn back
until he fully accomplishes
the purposes of his heart.
In days to come
you will understand this.
At that time,” declares the Lord, “I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be my people.”1 Timothy 2:1-15
Psalm 87:1-7
Proverbs 25:18-19
1.(2011)We understand:
19 Like a broken tooth or a lame footYears Read
is reliance on the unfaithful in a time of trouble.
