Exodus 5:22-7:24
(1) "Since I speak with faltering lips" (5:12 and 5:30)
I wonder why this verse is repeated twice on either side of the listing of the heads of the families, clan by clan, of Israel?

(2) The magicians of Egypt were (at first) able to mimic the "signs & wonders" of

(a) changing a staff into a snake

(b) changing the water of the Nile into blood

(3) [2011] Even the Champions of Faith struggle with their obedience. Do I give up too soon?:

22 Moses returned to the LORD and said, “Why, Lord, why have you brought trouble on this people? Is this why you sent me? 23 Ever since I went to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has brought trouble on this people, and you have not rescued your people at all.”

Is that the difference b/w myself and a man of faith such as Moses? I'll quit if I don't see results. Moses didn't see Israel's deliverance but he still obeys. Moses had better reasons than me to quit:

Moses reported this to the Israelites, but they did not listen to him because of their discouragement and harsh labor.

10 Then the LORD said to Moses, 11 “Go, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the Israelites go out of his country.”

12 But Moses said to the LORD, “If the Israelites will not listen to me, why would Pharaoh listen to me, since I speak with faltering lips[c]?”

(4)[2011] God doesn't always show Himself fully...even to the patriarchs!:

2 God also said to Moses, “I am the LORD. 3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty,[a] but by my name the LORD[b] I did not make myself fully known to them. 4 I also established my covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, where they resided as foreigners. 5 Moreover, I have heard the groaning of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are enslaving, and I have remembered my covenant.

Matthew 18:23-19:12
(1) Another parable on the kingdom of heaven; this time on forgiveness: Shouldn't you have mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you? (18:33).

(2)Haven't you read, he replied, that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female', and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.

I believe this passage obviously directly addresses divorce. I also maintain it describes marriage in a way contrary to our contemporary view(s) (e.g. the individualistic fragmentation or fracturing of families into mere individuals; the partitioning of groups of people into smaller groups without union).
