Exodus 7:25-9:35
(1) Matthew Henry's commentary on Exodus 8; the plague of frogs, flies, the livestock are killed, hail and festering boils. The last plague the magicians could mimic was the plague of frogs. They couldn't even "stand before Moses" when they were hit with boils.

(2)I wondered why Pharaoh didn't just kill Aaron & Moses. I'm wondering if Pharaoh saw Moses as a relative (having been adopted by a previous Pharaoh).

(3) I'm always amazed at God's patience with Pharaoh. God also must have wanted to display His dominion over all these elements of creation, "signs & wonders", even for future purposes with the Israelites.
